We live to go to Franco's for breakfast. The foods great!

One of my favorite breakfast places big portions and good prices servers always polite and smiling...

Fantastic place to eat. Little on the high side on price BUT well worth the food and portion size. Very good food.

Went second time for breakfast both times I would say food was average at best. Service was ok but felt a little like they were running around without good direction.They had some fire in the kitchen when we were there that smelled like burning plastic not just burnt food. Place turned very smokey so asked for check truly would have expected an apology or discount since it was clear we weren't truly finished but received neither.Stuff happens in a kitchen and fire can occur I get that but no desire to acknowledge it and try and still take care of the customer is disappointeing. Certainly will not return nor recommend.

Great, I wish that they would open up in Phoenix, AZ.

Good service even for as busy it was for the breakfast rush. Small dining room there is some outside seating. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy.

A great place to get a good hearty breakfast. When we arrived the place was packed, we waited about 15 to 20 mins. Once seated we were served right away. Our meals came out hot and tasty. I ordered an omelette with hash browns and pancakes. Pancakes were fluffy and tasy. The omelette had fresh veggies, hash browns perfect. Staff was friendly and the place was clean. We will defiantly be going back.

This is the best place around. They give you enough food so you can have breakfast and eat the leftovers for lunch. The staff is super friendly and our coffee and iced tea seems to never be empty. One of the big reasons we come here is for the way the staff takes care of you. Franco's is on the top of my list.

Food wasn't bad but the ham steak was salty. The over easy eggs or over easy. The hash browns were burned

This place was exactly what we wanted, with fast, friendly service, huge portions of excellent breakfast foods for a reasonable price. We were a group of five, asked for and received an extra chair, separate checks, various food requests for allergists, paleo & vegetarian diets, all with no problems from the helpful waitstaff. The biscuits and gravy is easily enough for THREE. You're going to enjoy this place for breakfast. Come hungry.

This place is small but quaint with it's outside patio. The portions are generous, coffee cups are ample, and food is delicious. We mainly have eaten here for breakfast even though they do serve lunch. And some of those plates look yummy. The service is good and will definitely visit again.

This is a small restaurant with big flavors. The staff is friendly and aim to please. The food is delicious and have large portions. It is not a great place for large groups. The service was fast. The prices are adequate in my opinion. The decor is a little dated and could use some fresh decor. Still one of my favorite places to go for breakfast.

Fantastic food from a family run cafe. We stopped for breakfast on our way to Phoenix, excellent home cooked food.

Hit the spot. Came on a Sunday for a late breakfast after a weekend camping trip and service and food were just what we were looking for. Cozy place but they didn't seem to have any problems keeping the wait short.

Went in and seemed dim. Asked to see menu and ordered a burrito to go. I heard many good things about this place but the burrito was horrible (worse than Denny’s) and the orange juice tasted like it was mixed with peaches and not fresh squeezed. The guy who took my order was really rude and creepy. He gave me my food and said thank you. I left got in my car and next thing I know he is literally banging on my window like a maniac. He said he forgot to charge me and I was like oh sorry. Will never return.

Great place excellent food great service.. only reason 4 stars is cause the table we sat at was wobbly and I had to brace it with napkins! Great local owned cafe

This is one of my favorite spots. Their food is tasty and cooked on point. The staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. The portions size are generous, so if you are hungry in the mornings, this is the place to go. Hmmm it sure would be nice if they offered brunch... 🤔 Still, it's my favorite! 😅

I've been here twice so far and will keep coming back. The service is fabulous... the ladies there are super nice. The food is quality and tastes super good. They have large portion plates and I could never finish but I take it to go and serves as lunch. 1 giant cup of coffee so there's no need to wait for someone to refill it, and the price is perfect. Easily feed 4 people for ~$50, I'm so happy I stumbled into this place.

Food was good except my biscuits and gravy were cold and my sister's steak had alot of gristle in it. Staff was friendly. The small restaurant was dark and dingy. It's a little pricey but you get big portions.

When I walk into Franco's The smell of fresh coffee is the first thing .I wipe my feet on the door mat because I know that they put a lot of work in keeping the restaurant clean .because Alpine is a small town with a small town atmosphere. They use My first name and greet me with coffee sr ? The coffee has a rich tast with out a burned or bitter flavor. Rich taste. The stake and eggs is my main stay breakfast .the stake is a generas cut felay more of a dinner stake than a topical breakfast stake .the Orange juice is fresh squeezed. Every day ! And the survives is celebrity quality. !I hope no one reads this so I can get a good seat.! PS Alpine is my home town .this review is truthful.

This is the best breakfast place I've ever been to In My Life! The coffee is endless in the mugs are huge! Abigail was my waitress and she was the best waitress I've had in my life! The portions were so big I couldn't finish

Small little hole in the wall GREAT place to eat. Expect them to expand. Great pricing. At this time great service.

Had breakfast there yesterday and food was a little over cooked but good. Staff however needs help. One waitress just snobby and other in rush always looking on her watch.

I celebrated my nomination last night in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we passed a phenomenal evening and the restaurant was surely the reason for this fruitful gathering. The stuff helped in a lovely manner, the food was extremely good and my guests were so thrilled. We shall absolutely come back again for more events. thanks very much.

Amazing best breakfast place in San Diego.

They have really large portions, so really two people could just about share one combo! At least, that's what my sister and I experienced when we got the pancakes and french toast combos, haha

Anytime we travel west we make sure that Franco’s in Alpine is on our schedule. The food is great, the staff totally efficient, friendly and a great break for a full day of activity in Southern California. Whether you eat in the facility or on the porch, it is a great experience. Hope you can open back soon and please stay safe. BTW, did I mention, everything on the menu is great. Not just your “average” MacD breakfast.

Wow... What a find!!! Our new Sunday family breakfast spot! Yummy, homemade, giant, flapjacks, sausages, waffles, eggs, you name it! Our group loved it all. Fast, super friendly service, low prices... It's where Ramon's BBQ was (for you Alpiners) and I hope they stay!!! And the coffee mugs we're really a cute addition! Love, love, love! I'm glad I stopped

I was so sick of Janet's, the price isn't worth the quality. I was told about Franco's and decided to try it. I was very satisfied the food was delicious and not expensive. All the food was cooked to perfection. The poached eggs were just right and the country fried steak was the best I've had.

Bring your appetite for large portions are served here! Great service! Got us right to a table quickly. Small restaurant, some outside seating.

Good service, and good food. Coffee isn’t served in some wimpy mug, they’re generous with their servings. Genuinely good pancakes too.

Absolutely love this restaurant 🍴. I ordered the berry capes. About a cup of fresh mixed blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. Filled with a luscious cream cheese type sauce. I had 2 eggs and 2 bacon 🥓 strips and a cup of coffee. $7.00 or thereabouts. Next time I will ask for one crape. Great service always friendly. Located in Alpine, CA.

Wait staff was abysmal. Refused to give milk for coffee, charged us for more coffees than we had, refused to give a straw, refused to give to go containers. Had to ask multiple times/multiple staff for straw, to go box. Food was pretty okay though.

Excellent generous portion breakfast. Great staff and the hashbrowns were crispy just like I like them!!!
